OVERVIEW

When Crawfish interactive approached us to develop this game we were excited to bring the Aliens license to life on the Game Boy Color. As these films are among our favourites, we insisted on including all the weapons from the movies, especially the power loader - regardless of the extra development involved. This game features tons of aliens on screen to blast away along with cut scenes and an eerie soundtrack.

We ensured the terrifying creatures made famous by the ALIENS movies were all in this game. You play as one of five space marines who are sent to explore the abandoned freighter, THANATOS. The situation is far worse than expected as the ship is completely infested with thousands of vicious aliens.

This is a single-player shooter. There are 12 sections of the ship to work through as you discover the solution to the mystery of the aliens' reappearance through cinematic cutscenes.

ALIENS: Thanatos Encounter is compatible with Game Boy Color only.

FEATURES

A group of Marines are returning home to Earth from a training mission. Along the way they receive a distress signal from the large freighter, THANATOS. After failing to establish communications, they decide to dock and board the massive ship.

• Twelve unique stages to progress through, each getting more challenging than the next.
• Five Playable characters each with unique attributes.
